5800 W 12TH ST, Little Rock, AR

OBITUARY

Mrs. Remona McClain

January 21, 1936January 29, 2020

Remona was a member of the Apostolic Church in North Little Rock. Her life was dedicated to serving her family. Remona never desired worldly things. Her greatest joy in life was to create a loving environment where all were made to feel welcome and no judgement was ever passed in her home. She has a sign a niece made for her that says back door guests are the best, and so they were. They had Easter in her backyard over 50 years and all were welcome. That was family reunion time. Everyone including the ex’s, in-laws, outlaws, neighbors and friends. The old and the young hunted Easter eggs. I bet there are still eggs out there waiting to be found. She was a joy to her family, a jewel to her husband, a wonderful mama and a true friend to many. The world has lost a beautiful soul. She was a joy to her family, a jewel to her husband, a wonderful mama and a true friend to many. Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Saturday, February 1, 2020, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, with Rev. Larry Pearce and Donnie Copeland officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm and burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

We were so sorry to hear of Remona’s passing. While they were roommates only for a short time at Colonel Glenn, our Mom enjoyed their time together. Our family will keep her friends and loved ones in our thoughts and prayers . The McGeorge Family

I have so many happy memories of special times with my other MOM! She always loved when Billy and I would bring her a "Subway/ chips/ and root beer. She would have her beautiful smile on the whole time she was enjoying it. We've had a lot of phone calls, prayers, stories etc. together. I could tell her anything and she would always give me good sound advice! We also aged together and this caused us not to be able to see each other like we really wanted to. Joe & Dixie, I know your pain. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Let's keep in touch, okay. Love you guys and all the McClains. Can you imagine the family reunion that she is having about now?

Sue has always been a wonderful aunt. She was great to so many that knew her. All the fun times that we shared from hunting Easter eggs in her backyard. I can just imagine how many were never found especially in the clothes line. Her house was the gathering place for everyone and their were a lot of us. Her backdoor was always open to all. She was a great person and will truly be missed. She was always kind, loving, great friend, never met a stranger, a shoulder to lean on. I can still see my Granny, mom, dad, Peggy sitting at her table and all the stories she told. We couldn't come to Little Rock without stopping by. Sue was a role model, to know her you couldn't help but love her. Sue has been an inspiration, an upstanding lady, touched everyone around her. She will be missed greatly by all. Love you, thanks for being there for us, an inspiration, I can go on about her. Sue may you RIP with everyone thats passed on. You will always hold a special place in all our hearts forever. She was a person that everyone should be. Love Kimbo.

My good friend has taken her flight into the arms of Jesus, she will no
Longer have to struggle or worry. It was a pleasure knowing this fine lady
I enjoyed every visit I made to her home and the times we shared a laugh
Or just had quiet conversation . She always was so happy on those visits
And always looked forward to those times.
I will miss her so much. Praying for comfort for those left behind, may you
Always have fond memories of the one you loved so much.
