One of the best and toughest teachers I ever had, and a woman who loved learning and wanted young people to realize their potential and thus expected a lot of them. In my case she was far more tolerant than I deserved. I'm very thankful to have known her and been one of her students. God bless Mrs. O'Dell.

Mrs. O'dell was such a wonderful lady. I took her Spanish class at Cloverdale Junior High during the early '80s and I was always amazed at how selfless she was giving so many of her Saturdays to prepare us for competition. Truly an inspiring lady. Thank you Mrs. O'dell for all you did for us.

Charles and I remember Reyda and Jerry from our teaching days together at Mabelvale Junior High and Cloverdale Junior High. Mrs. O’Dell will always be remembered as one of the sweetest persons that one could meet. She always had a beautiful smile and a good word for you each day. She was a very dedicated teacher who was focused on her students and their success.

May you find peace in knowing that she ran a good race and is now at rest and receiving her most deserved reward.
