Shelia Diann Sipes, 71, of Little Rock passed away October 29, 2024. She was born April 3, 1953 in El Dorado, Arkansas to the late Alvis Eugene and Georgia (Simpson) Brown. In addition to her parents, Sheila was preceded in death by father-in-law, Bill Sipes; and brother-in-law, Danny Sipes.
Shelia was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family, especially her two grandchildren. In her spare time, Shelia enjoyed nature, camping, bird watching, travelling and playing backgammon. She was happily married to Larry Sipes for 46 years. Before retirement, Shelia work for Heifer Project International for 26 years. She will be dearly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have met her.
Those left to cherish the memories of Shelia include her beloved husband, Larry Sipes; son, Clay (Elizabeth) Sipes; grandchildren, Callen and Finley Sipes; brothers, Gene and David Brown; mother-in-law, Mary Barber; and sister-in-law, Joyce Cathern Sipes.
Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest following the service at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be the evening prior, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
