Shirley Marie Knight

Shirley Marie Knight, 62, of Little Rock, passed away November 8, 2015, at home. She was born May 17, 1953 in Vallejo, California, to Bobby Hardester and Maggie Green Hardester. She was preceded in death by her father, two sons, R. Keith Knight, Jr. and Mark Elliott Knight, and a sister, Diane Spence. She is survived by her husband, Roger Knight; son, Eric C. Knight, Sr. of Little Rock; her mother, Maggie Hardester LeGaux of North Little Rock; one brother, Dennis Hardester of Vilonia; and seven grandchildren, Eric Christopher Knight, Jr., Lacey Marie Knight, Alexis Dawn Knight, Madison LeeAnn Knight, Erica Michelle Knight, Jordan Alexander Knight, and Haylin Nicole Knight. Marie was a devoted, beautiful, loving and wonderful wife, mother and daughter who cherished life and its joys while courageously accepting the hardships. An inspiration to others who knew and loved her, she will be dearly missed. May she rest in peace. Visitation will be Thursday, November 12, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock. Graveside services will be Friday, November 13, at 10:00 a.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
