Sidney Scott Crosby

Born on May 27, 1953, in Hope, Arkansas, to John Thomas and Helen Crosby. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Stephen Kent Crosby and John Stanley Crosby, and his wife Amanda Wren Crosby. He is survived by his children John Crosby (Jennifer) of La Grange, Illinois, Sydney Crosby (Danny Smith) of North Little Rock, and grandchildren Evalyn and Mason Crosby. A memorial will be announced at a later date.

Scott grew up in Hope before moving to Little Rock with his family when he was twelve years old. He graduated from Hall High School in 1971 and later earned a BA from UALR in radio and television.

He returned for a time to Hope to build high-quality speakers for Paul Klipsch.

He met Amanda Wren while they both attended UALR. He was a member of the fraternity Pi Kappa Alpha, and she was a Chi Omega. They were married on March 1, 1980, at St. Edward Catholic Church and settled in Little Rock.

Scott was an avid lover of the outdoors. Camping, fishing, duck hunting, and boating were second nature to him. He was also an artist, skilled in photography and cooking. He took many amazing photos and cooked many delicious dishes.

More than anything, Scott loved being with his family. His happiest moments were spent driving with them in his Land Cruiser, boating with them on Lake Ouachita, and in Kauai, HI on vacation.

Scott will be missed by all who knew him, especially for his sense of humor and spirit for fun. His family takes comfort knowing that he is resting peacefully now in the company of his wife.
