Sue Walls

Colleen “Sue” Hooten Walls, 89 of Little Rock has joined her late husband and daughter in Heaven. Sue worked as a public educator for over 50 years as an English Teacher, IRC and Reading Specialist. She was also an LRSD Specialist Coordinator and volunteered as a tutor at Brady Elementary after retirement. She comes from a family of teachers. She was a member of PEO Chapter AK and Past President from 1987 – 1989.

Sue and her late husband were die hard Razorback fans through their entire lives. No matter where they lived, they always enthusiastically and financially supported them. She loved travelling all over the world with her late husband and family. Sue cherished her church family at Trinity UMC especially her Sunday School Class, attending since 1974.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband Carroll E Walls, Sr; daughter Cindy Colleen Walls, and parents Riley Hooten and Grace Dill Hooten. Sue is survived by her sister June Hays (Jim), along with a host of loving family members and friends and her dog Tara who she loved dearly.

Visitation will be at 11:00 Saturday March 21st with the service following at 12:00 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Little Rock.
