William "Carroll" Pool

Carroll Pool, age 70, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023. He was born on September 10, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of Albert Sidney and Carolyn (Brasell) Pool. Carroll lived his entire life in Little Rock’s Meadowcliff neighborhood and was a graduate of Central High School.

Carroll was a committed Christian who grew up at Lifeline Baptist Church, and later worshiped at Geyer Springs Baptist Church. Declining health forced him to reluctantly retire from the Walmart store on Bowman Road just weeks before he died. Carroll never met a stranger. He delighted in his family and friendships and maintained a kind and engaging spirit. He will be remembered for his love of airplanes, cars, catfish, and cowboy shows.

Carroll leaves to cherish his memory his two brothers Roger and Edward Pool, as well as extended family, friends, and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service for Carroll will be held Monday, March 13, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Arkansas 72202.

The family is grateful for the assistance of the Barg Family Clinic, CHI St. Vincent Infirmary, and of all who showed kindness to Carroll along his journey.
