Aaron Chernus died at home, surrounded by his loving family, on August 31, 2014. Born in Newark, NJ Aaron lived in Livingston for the next 50 years. After 15 years in the family business, Chain Curtain Stores, Mr. Chernus became a successful real estate developer in New Jersey. Prior to his business career Aaron served his country proudly as a U.S.Marine. He also participated for more than 20 years in both the NJ and National Senior Games, frequently medalling. Mr. Chernus was married to his loving wife Janet, for 64 years. Devoted father of Jack ( Jennifer) and Andrea. Cherished grandfather of Zachary, Spencer, and Ryan. he was predeceased by his brother, Leo Chernus. Services will be on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, 11AM at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd. Livingston
