Abraham was a devoted son, adoring husband, beloved father, and doting grandfather. He will be remembered for his love and devotion to his family and friends.
Born in Manhattan on June 28, 1949, Abe grew up in the Bronx. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from City College and went on to get his medical degree and acted as Chief Resident of Neurology at Metropolitan Hospital. He was also the President of the Plainfield area Medical Society and a respected Neurologist at Muhlenberg Hospital, Union Hospital, and St. Barnabas Hospital in addition to a successful private practice located in Warren and Union NJ.
Abe is survived by his wife of 45 years, Fern Morganoff; his daughter Jessica Sims and her husband Gideon; his son Gregory Morganoff and his wife Larissa; and his daughter Michelle Fruhschien and her husband Andrew. Abe cherished his 6 grandchildren: Noah, Gabriel, Nathan, Hailey, Sophie, and Logan.
He will be remembered for his compassionate and caring nature, his intelligence and quick wit, his honesty and integrity, his humor and his knowing smile.

A funeral service for Abraham will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039. The burial will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652.
