

Angelo was born and raised in Newark, NJ. He was the oldest of 4 children to the late Frank and Angelina (Poeta) Tursi. While attending a dance at the Air Force Academy, Angelo met his wife, Lola, of 67 years. They lived briefly in Newark, NJ before settling in Belleville, NJ, where they raised their 4 children for the majority of their lives. During late retirement, Angelo and Lola moved to East Hanover to be closer to and enjoy their time with their 4 children, 8 grandchildren and respective family members.
Angelo was a proud graduate of Central High School in Newark, NJ. He went on to honorably serve in the United States Army, where he studied Engineering. Following his service, Angelo built a successful career as an Engineer, dedicating the majority of his professional life to Foster Wheeler.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Toniann (Tursi) Concato and his sister Dolores Tursi.
He is survived by his loving children: Frank Tursi; Liza (Tursi) Cordovano; Ramona (Tursi) and her husband, Ronald Borgo; and his son-in-law, Michael Concato Sr. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Racquel (Borgo) and her husband, Joseph Fuda; Ronald Borgo Jr.; Ricky Borgo and his wife, Julia; Johnangelo Cordovano and his wife, Amanda; Lorenzo Cordovano; Cayci Cordovano; Michael Concato Jr. and his fiancée, Ashley; and Marc Concato and his wife, Deanna. Additionally, he is survived by his adored great-grandchildren: Vienna and Frankie Fuda, and Pia Borgo. He is also survived by his sisters, Livia Orosz and Mary Lamb, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
