She is survived by her children, Seth (Sara), Greg (Georgina), and Ilyse (Ben) and grandchildren Tyler, Benjamin, Mia, Jordyn, and Mae. She was predeceased by her husband Phil, to whom she was happily married for 57 years.
Annalee was an amazing and loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother who spent her life dedicated to supporting and protecting her family. She had a great business sense, a career that spanned many decades, and many life-long friendships.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Annalee grew up in a particularly close family with amazing parents and a wonderful sister, Ileane. She attended Tilden High School and at a young age met the love of her life, Philip Rosenblatt. They married in 1964 when she was 19 years old. She and Phil raised a family of three children, with the distinction of having her first child at age 22 and her third child at age 41. For her almost eight decades of life, she remained a protective force for her children, her parents, and her extended family.
She loved everything about Manhattan, particularly the bright lights of Broadway. She also loved dogs, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her grandchildren, who range in age from toddlers to young adults, adapting the role of "grandma" for each one of them.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 12th at 11:00am ET at the Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel at 68 Old Short Hills Road in Livingston, New Jersey.
To honor her memory, please consider making a donation in Annalee's name to any animal charity.
