Anne Silberstein Cohen Mother, grandmother, beloved psychotherapist with Livingston practice, 87 Anne Silberstein Cohen of West Orange, N.J., and East Orleans, Mass., widow of Robert J. Cohen, died peacefully surrounded by family on March 3, 2016. The funeral service is on Sunday, March 6, at 1 p.m. in the Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston, N.J., with interment in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, N.J. A vibrant, erudite 87-year-old world traveler, she passionately pursued learning of all kinds. As a beloved psychotherapist, Anne served others through her practice in Livingston, N.J. She enthusiastically pursued her passions, including alternative healing, bridge, books, meditation and Jewish studies. Anne was an inspiration to all who knew her and built many communities around her. She was a graduate of Goucher College (1949), Montlair State (1974), Rutgers (1975), and N.Y. Psychoanalytic Institute (1988). Anne is survived by her children, Laura and Michael Cohen, and grandchildren, Leila, Ariel, Stefan and Julian.
