Anthony Joseph Marchitello, of Parsippany, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, in St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston surrounded by his loving family. He was 59 years old.

Born in Belleville, Tony grew up in Livingston, before moving to Parsippany 15 years ago.

He had a passion for cars at a young age and spent the past 40 years working in the Automobile Industry as an Independent Contractor.

Tony will always be remembered for his charming personality, mischievous smile, and his sparkling blue-green eyes. Tony's legacy will be the joy and enthusiasm he carried with him every day.

He was the beloved son of Carmen and Joyce (MacNaugten) Marchitello, loving brother of Kathryn Marchitello Farano, Joyce Marchitello Aromando, Jessica Marchitello, and the late Michael Marchitello, and dear uncle of Michael Marchitello, Jr., Daniel Aromando, and Jack Aromando. He was also survived by a son, Kyle Moore and granddaughter Julianna Moore.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 12-4 pm at the LaMonica Memorial Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue in Livingston.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the ASPCA or St. Jude’s Childrens hospital in Anthony’s name.

This past summer we meet up again after 20 something years was awesome We had soo many laughs and my family and children welcomed and thought you were awesome I will miss you even though our time together has been shortened I will always have you in my mind. Tony had a heart as big the sky he came to see me and the kids in December to give my brands gifts we were not family but he treated us as if we were fly high with the angles Tony 💔
