Arnold "Skip" H. Rose

Arnold “Skip” Rose passed away on December 29th at 88 years old. He was predeceased by his parents, Lorraine and Harry Rose. He was a graduate of Hillside High school and Montclair State University. He was in the window manufacturing business for many years. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and loved his family dearly.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 65 years, Joan “Jody.” He also leaves behind his children, Lisa and Nick Derrico, Howard and Ellen Rose, Cindy and Nils Swenson, and Karen and Jeff Garfinkel. Skip is also survived by his eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren: Chris Derrico (Chelsea), Jessica Shankoff (Matthew), Emily Derrico, Michael Rose (Maryrose), Nikki Rose, Carly Swenson, Erik Swenson, Jack Swenson, Jonny Garfinkel, Casey Garfinkel, Colby Garfinkel, Miles and Liam Derrico, and Charlie and Nola Shankoff.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 2nd at 9:00 AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Home located at 68 Old Short Hills Road in Livingston, NJ. There will be a private family burial following the service.
