Arthur I. Davis

Arthur I. Davis of Morristown, New Jersey and Jupiter, Florida passed away at the age of 90 on Tuesday August 7, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Barbara, his wife of 32 years. He leaves his sister, Lucille Chanin, his daughter EJ, his son Robert and his wife Jamie and their three children, William, Peter and Katherine. He also leaves his wife’s children, Margo Brundage and Douglas Henston and their five children, two nieces and their children, as well as dedicated and loving care-givers, Valerie Beckford and Eunice Jones. His previous marriage to Marian Davis, who pre-deceased him, ended in divorce.

A Wharton School graduate, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II in active duty in New Guinea and the Philippines. President of JTC Corporation, he also was a member of the Board of Newark’s Beth Israel Hospital. He was a passionate horticulturist, collector of photographs and crafts, jazz enthusiast and athlete.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday August 12 at 2PM at Temple B’Nai Jeshurun, 1025 South Orange Avenue, Short Hills, New Jersey.
