Arthur Lewis

Arthur recently moved to West Orange after residing in Livingston for 21 years. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Stanley and Eleanor Lewis. A US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, he graduated from Cardozo Law School in Manhattan, and then worked for many years as a trial lawyer representing both defendants and plaintiffs. Arthur joined Con Edison’s Law Department in 2000 where he loved trying cases almost as much as he loved his colleagues. Arthur was a tech enthusiast, avid chess player, yogi, third baseman, dog lover, Civil War buff and always considered himself a New Yorker. One of his favorite mottos was “enjoy every sandwich”.

Arthur is survived by his beloved wife Debra Lewis (nee Kishinsky), loving sons Adam and Harrison Lewis, a cherished sister Barbara Vince and her husband Dino, brother Gary Lewis, niece and nephew Erica and David, Erica’s children Elise and Oliver, Debra’s devoted sister Alisa Hare, her husband Jeffrey, and their 3 sons Dan, Alex and Scott, and father-in-law Lloyd Kishinsky.
