My deepest condolences to Barbara's family: Meredith, Linda, and Trey. I was a very young child (8-9 years old) at Camp Wingo and far from home (Montreal, Canada) so there were some challenges for me and my siblings. I have fond memories of both Barbara and Linda. They were not my bunk counselors but they helped guide us in dance and drama etc. (at least those are my memories). I remember them both being warm and smiling and being good people. I am sorry for your loss. I hope you will be spared further sorrow.

Dear Meredith:
We’ve never met formally, but through the years and Facebook, I’ve had the pleasure of seeing many pictures of you and your son. I met Barbara back in 1987 when we both entered the adult B’Nai Mitzvah class of 1989 at Temple Emanu-El. We quickly discovered we had more in common than an abiding interest in Judaism. For one, we shared birthdays, well almost; I’m 4 days older. But we never failed to wish each other a happy birthday in all these years we’ve known one another. Also, Bobi was very interested in choir to which I belonged, and so we began a long association as choir members. Since Emanu-El closed, we've seen much less of each other; while our long association was one that was strictly tied to Temple (my son did use her as a travel agent for a long time though), I have a fond place in my soul that belongs to Bobi Su.
I hope your memories and the knowledge of how she touched lives will offer you some comfort going forward. Please accept my (and those of my husband Jerry) sincere condolences on her passing, one that happened too soon.
Wishing you and your family peace.
