He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on October 18, 1969 to John & Lynda Wachsteter.
Bart was a graduate of Millburn High School, Vanderbilt University and received his law degree from The Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon.
Bart worked as a lawyer in Anchorage focusing on construction litigation however his true passion was his family and love of outdoor activities. An avid fly fisherman, Bart would take full advantage of the bountiful fishing Alaska had to offer. He loved riding his motorcycle in the summertime over the open mountain passes of the Chugach Range. A lover of dogs, his chocolate lab Nush was always by his side. Bart was a great friend to those who knew him, his sharp wit and dry sense of humor made him a pleasure to be around. He cherished and adored his three children, Max, Ella, and Evan. Bart did a great job being their father as well as a friend.
Bart is also survived by his parents John & Lynda and his brother Greg.
Services will be held 11:30am on Friday, January 25th at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel. 68 Old Short Hills Road Livingston, NJ.
The family will be sitting Shiva on Saturday from 5pm till 9pm and again on Sunday afternoon starting 12pm at the home of John and Lynda Wachsteter: 84 Oakview Terrace, Short Hills, NJ 07078
