Beverly was the beloved wife of M. Stanley Susskind, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage. Together, they built a life rooted in devotion to family, community, and one another. Stanley predeceased her, and their bond remains a lasting example of partnership and enduring love.
She was a devoted mother to Henry Susskind (Dana Butcher), Jeffrey Susskind (Shari-Beth Susskind), and Steve Susskind (Hilarie Susskind). Beverly took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to Jacob (Olivia), Ben (Emilie), Danielle (Adam), Noah, Julia, and Bradley, and she was especially blessed to know the joy of her great-grandchild, Solomon.
Beverly earned her degree from Beaver College and began her professional life as a buyer at Bamberger’s, where her keen eye and professionalism were evident early on. She later devoted more than 40 years working alongside her husband in his law office, serving as office manager, HR director, unofficial controller, and paralegal—roles she fulfilled with exceptional competence, loyalty, and dedication.
Deeply committed to service, Beverly was actively involved in the National Council of Jewish Women, the National Conference of Christians and Jews, Hadassah, and the Bayonne Mental Health Center. Her community involvement reflected her belief in kindness, fairness, and showing up for others.
Above all else, Beverly will be remembered as gracefully elegant, warm, and deeply loving. She had a way of making people feel welcome, valued, and at ease. Her presence was steady, her love unwavering, and her legacy lives on through the family and friends whose lives she touched.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beverly’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, https://www.alz.org/ or to Congregation Etz Chaim, https://congregationetzchaim.shulcloud.com/payment.php
