Born and raised in Romania, Carol moved to Israel with his childhood family in the early 1950’s and later emigrated to the United States in 1967 where he and his beloved wife, Aida, raised their two sons, Benjamin and F. David. He enjoyed living the American Dream and appreciated the freedoms and opportunities this country offers.
Predeceased by his wife Aida in 2011, Carol is survived by son Ben and his wife Jennifer, and son Dave and his wife Justine, as well as grandchildren Oliver, Emily, Zoe, and Eloise and step-grandchildren Holden and Harry.
Carol honorably served in the Israeli Navy and later became an electromechanical engineer before starting various business ventures. He was a tinkerer – you could give him a hammer or a screwdriver and he could fix just about anything. Always laughing or cracking a joke, he loved simply being around people.
