Carole Ravin, 87, of Cedar Grove, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on October 25 surrounded by family. Born in Newark and a 45-year resident of North Caldwell and Manchester/Stratton, Vermont, she was a proud graduate of Weequahic High School, Columbia University and Seton Hall Law School. Carole was a lawyer as well as a writer of numerous stories, including The Belle Ridge Murders.
Her loving husband, David Ravin, predeceased her several years ago. She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her children Marta and Adam Ravin, daughter-in-law Karyn Ravin; her brothers Mark and Bruce Baumgarten and their wives and children; her cousin Arlene Bernstein; her stepchildren Beth and Rick Ravin; and her grandchildren Jonah, Ben, Leah, Josh, Ariela, Aliyah, Alessandra, Isaac, and great grandchildren Charlie, Zoe and Rory.
