Today would have been Carrie’s 50th birthday.  

I miss her smile.  She had the best smile. It always started with her eyes. 

Carrie Jacobs was a mensch. She was kind to and deeply felt for all whom she met, regardless of differences, and boy were we different! I was a would-jock with no interest in the arts and she was a chanteuse and was a black belt in bedazzling. Until Carrie, I thought that jean jackets with rhinestones were so uncool. Now I immediately feel simpatico with anybody who wears one.  She is the only person imaginable who could perform the Broadway song called... well, “T&A” and have my mom say “oh that lovely girl; she is so special; who is she dating?” She had a smile for everyone and a heart that she wore on her sleeves. She was brilliant and humble, joyous but grounded.  She was SO FUNNY. She made me laugh and laugh and laugh.  And she still makes me smile when I think of her. She was a mensch like no other.  With you, Carrie, they broke the mold. All my love.

I feel as thought I know you through  my Daughter Lynn Marie  I am sending you my deepest sympathy. So sorry for your loss.  Your whole family is in my prays.  She is at peace.
