Mrs. Cynthia F. Gordon, 89, of Linden, N.J., died on Saturday, June 16, 2012, in the Overlook Medical Center. Funeral service is on Monday, June 18, at 11 a.m. in the Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston, N.J., with entombment at Beth Israel Cemetery. Born in Queens, N.Y., Mrs. Gordon lived most of her life in Linden. A past president of the Sisterhood of Congregation A.A.A., Mrs. Gordon was a member of the Linden-Roselle chapter of Hadassah, Deborah and the Sisterhood of Congregation Anshe Chesed, all of Linden. Predeceased by her daughter, Risa, Cynthia leaves her beloved husband, Manuel; two devoted sons, Barry and Dr. Robert; dear daughters-in-law, Cindy and Renee; cherished sister, Lorraine Martin, and loving grandchildren, Sean, Taylor, Jason and Alex.
