Dana Francine Cordasco

Dana F. Cordasco of West Caldwell, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, in St. Barnabus Medical Center in Livingston. She was 47 years old. The visitation will be held at the LaMonica Memorial Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 from 4-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017 in St. Aloysius Church in Caldwell, followed by the interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Born in Long Branch, Dana was raised in West Caldwell. She taught Math and Chemistry at St. Vincent’s Academy in Newark for 3 years and was currently the manager of The Dog House Restaurant in Nanuet. She was also studying for her PhD at Seton Hall University. She is survived by her sons Zachary M. and Derek M. Cordasco, parents Anne (nee Macera) and Daniel A. Cordasco, Sr., a brother Daniel Cordasco, Jr. and his wife Michele Pignatello, and nieces Chloe and Nicole Cordasco.

I am so so sorry to hear about this. I worked with Dana years ago at Ricoh. She was such a good hearted and extremely bright person. I am heart sick for her sons and her entire family. Rest in Peace sweet Dana.
