It is with great sadness that the family of David I. Fox, of Roseland, New Jersey, announces his passing on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the age of 85. Funeral services will be held in the Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, N.J., on Tuesday February 27th at 1:15 pm. Burial immediately following at Oheb Shalom Cemetery, Hillside, N.J.
David was born and raised in Newark, N.J. until he married and moved to Roseland. He was educated at Lafayette College and NYU School of Law, and was a founding Partner of the law firm, Fox & Fox. He served as an officer in the United States Army Infantry Division from 1954-1956.
David will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Esther, his son, James, daughter-in-law, Naomi, and their children, Sterling and Scarlet, and his daughter, Susan, son-in-law, Rolf, and her children, Jake Gilman and Grace Gilman. David was predeceased by his brothers, Richard Fox and Dr. Arthur Fox, and his dear son, Michael.
