David H. Jacobs

David Howard Jacobs, born July 14, 1948, passed away October 2, 2023 at the age of 75. David was the beloved husband of Robin Jacobs, father of Adam Jacobs (Jay), Thomas Sparks (Nicole), and Elizabeth Hunt (Matt), and the grandfather of Charlotte, Madison, Grant, Carleigh, Ethan, Isabel, Brianne, Ryan, Joselyn, and Nolan all of whom he adored.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, David grew up in Queens, New York, the son of Charlotte and Morris Jacobs, and the brother of Rita Jacobs. He had a wonderful childhood and grew up enjoying life. He began working in the retail industry eventually leading to becoming Vice President of National Sporting Goods for over 40 years. He moved to West Paterson, New Jersey in 1980, then to West Orange in 1983, where he resided at the time of his death.

A funeral service for David will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, New Jersey 07039. Following the funeral service will be an entombment at 12:30 PM at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095.
