He was a loving husband and devoted father, grandfather, and brother. He leaves behind his beloved wife Lois, his children Stephani and Rick, Jon and Jodi, his grandchildren Jordan, Jake, Josie, and Chloe, and his brother Stan and sister Gloria. He bequeaths a rich legacy of love and devotion to everyone who has had the good fortune to know him. He dedicated his life to his passions: the enjoyment of his family, tennis, traveling, the arts, and lifelong learning. He will never be forgotten and will be greatly missed by all who life he touched.
A funeral service will be held 11:30AM Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ. Interment will be in Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus.
Donations may be made to St. Barnabas Hospice or the fund in memory of David Mendelson at the American Parkinson’s Disease Association.
