Doris Pogash passed away at the age of 94 on July 31. She was a devoted wife to our father David and an equally devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Doris was an avid golfer and a proud member of Mountain Ridge Country Club for the past 73 years.
Born in Newark in 1925, she was a graduate of Weequahic High School and briefly pursued a career in photography before attending art school, where she studied landscape and portrait painting. She was vice-president of the Beth Israel Hospital Women's Auxiliary, and was a member of Hadassah.
Doris is survived by her son's Jeffrey and Kenneth, her daughters-in-law Jocelyne and Miriam, Grandchildren Jonathan (Megan) Daniel (Eve), Jessica and Adam, and Greatgrandchildren Benjamin, Ethan, Juniper and Ezra. She will be greatly missed by all.
