Dorothy Bernice Glasberg Klein

Dorothy Glasberg Klein, known as Dottie, passed away on April 19, 2013 at the age of 94. She was a long time resident of West Orange and Westfield, NJ. Dottie was born on September 28, 1918 in Brooklyn, NY to Rosé and Abraham Glasberg. She married Murray Klein in 1941 and had two children, Allen Klein and Nadeen Klein Becker. Dottie was part owner of Klein's Self Service Supermarket in Newark,NJ, and was employed at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ, Wakefern Food Corp. in Elizabeth, NJ, and at Macy's Department Store in Livingston, NJ. Dottie is survived by her son Allen Klein and his wife Eileen of Livingston, NJ, her son-in-law Ivan Becker of Westfield, NJ, her granddaughter Marcy Enoch and her husband Scott of Augoura Hills, CA, her grandson Gregg Klein and his wife Tami of Roseland, her granddaughter Amy Becker Goldberg and her husband Andrew of Columbia, MD, and her grandson Michael Becker of NYC. She is survived by three great-grandchildren, Jordan Enoch, Jamie Enoch, and Nora Sophie Goldberg. Dottie is pre deceased by her husband Murray and her daughter Nadeen. Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, April 22 at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd, Livingston, NJ at 11:00 a.m. The Family will be observing Shiva at their residence Monday and Tuesday evening 6-9pm. Minyan services both evenings at 7pm
