Blessings , strength and love to the family. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Ed’s family and friends. Having worked with him periodically over the past three years providing respite care, I found him to be a person of exceptional character. I greatly admired the impactful work he performed  (ACLU)  I sincerely will miss him. Much love -Peace and grace.- 💐

Always an inspiration  of grace, dignity and persistence. He is  still inspiring, helping others, and effecting positive change in the world. I am deeply grateful to Ed and his family and for the privilege of being in their world, since the summer of 1976 (Najeewah camp) and throughout his life until recently being with him last Wednesday night & Thursday morning. Knowing this could happen any time doesn't make it any easier. I  will sorely miss him. My heartfelt sympathies to his mom and family and all those who also can call him "my friend".  (Now go buy his book! - his words not mine.) May his memory be a blessing. זכרונו לברכה

I just found out about Eddie! My very special friend for over 35 year! As a co worker and Co-Division Head starting in 1985 at Cedar Lake Camp! So many great memories and shared friendships along the way!
I’ll never forget your friendship and support through many rough times!  You are a true mensch and this world lost a beautiful person inside and out!
