Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 28,
at 11 A.M. in the Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Sub-
urban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd.,
Livingston with interment in Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, Mrs. Berkowitz lived
in Flemington, NJ most of her married life, moving to
West Orange 6 years ago.
Mrs. Berkowitz was a past president of the Sisterhood
of the Flemington Jewish Community Center, a past president
of the NJ Regional Chapter of B'nai Brith, a past treasurer
for Camp Isabel for children with Disabilities and the Penny Fund.
Predeceased by her husband, Max, Eleanor is survived by her
daughter, Harriet Schneiderman and her husband, Bart and
her grandson, Jason.
