Evelina M. Lopreato

Evelina M. Lopreato (nee Annucci), passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Mt. Arlington Assisted Living at the age of 100.

Services will be conducted from the LaMonica Memorial Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at 9 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Lucy’s Church in Newark at 10:30 am. The Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitation will be on Monday from 3-7 pm.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Evelina lived most of her life in Newark and Bloomfield, moving to Pompton Lakes in 2003 and Mt. Arlington in 2009.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Lopreato, loving mother of Angela Gosson and her husband the late Walter E. and Matthew Lopreato and his wife Patricia, dear sister of the late Christina Ferraro and Michael Annucci, and cherished grandmother of Walter J. Gosson, Laurel Geigerich, Michele Otey, Matthew Lopreato, and Janene Driver. She was also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
