Evelyn Chadwick, age 76, born and raised in New York City, and long time resident of Tenafly and Fort Lee, passed peacefully on November 23 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
A graduate of Bronx High School of Science and Cornell University (BS Biochemistry, 1963), Evelyn was a teacher with the New York City Public School System. She is survived by her daughter Nicole Kaufman (Scott), son Chad Rabinowitz (Hima Prabhakar), grandsons Chase & Jesse Kaufman and Rahul, Arjun, & Vikram Rabinowitz, and sister Ina Chadwick (Richard Epstein).
Funeral services will be held this Sunday, November 25 at 12:30 p.m. at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston, NJ. Interment to follow at King Solomon Cemetery, Clifton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Evelyn’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association
