
Born in 1932, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, Felix was the son of Salome Valcarcel and Catalina Castro.
Felix proudly served in the United States Army, answering the call to serve with honor and dedication. His time in the military reflected the discipline and sense of responsibility that he carried throughout his life.
Felix married the love of his life, Luz Maria Bracety Marrero, and together they shared more than 30 beautiful years of marriage having two beautiful daughters, Lillian and Betzaida. After growing up in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Felix later made his home in Livingston, New Jersey, where he became a cherished member of the community and, most importantly, the heart of his family.
Felix found joy in life’s simple and meaningful pleasures. He was a lover of Italian opera and Western films. He delighted in crossword puzzles and dominos, always keeping his mind sharp and engaged. Yet above all his interests and accomplishments, Felix’s greatest joy was his family. He treasured every gathering, every conversation, every shared meal.
Felix is predeceased by, Luz Maria Bracety Marrero.
Felix is survived by, Lillian Ethem and Betzaida King.
May he rest in eternal peace, reunited with those who went before him, and forever remembered by those who carry his memory in their hearts.
A Visitation will be held at LaMonica Memorial Home, located at 145 East Mount Pleasant Ave, Livingston, NJ, 07039, on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. A Military burial will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, located at 350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ, 08562, on March 6, 2026, at 12:30 pm.
