Gerald Davis

Devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, caring brother and uncle, Gerald Lloyd Davis passed away at the age of 84 on October 12, 2025. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Gloria Davis, who preceded him on April 2, 2020. Gerald was formerly of West Windsor, New Jersey and Manhattan, New York.

Gerald was born on January 1, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York to Hyman and Anne Davis. He graduated from Lincoln High School where he was classmates with Neil Diamond. Gerald graduated The City College of New York earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Gerald also received his Master’s Degree in Mathematics from Northeastern University.

He married the love of his life, Gloria Davis, on June 30, 1962 and they enjoyed 58 years of marital bliss together. Gloria and Jerry raised their three children in Syosset, NY, Woodbury, NY and East Brunswick, NJ.

Gerald had a long and successful business career as an Information Technology executive working for various companies including The Mitre Corporation, Grumman Corporation and The Guardian Life Insurance of America.

Gerald was always smiling and was full of joy. He was known as a sweet and caring gentleman. He loved collecting stamps. It was his passion along with investing in stocks and watching CNBC and CNN. He also loved Nathan Hot Dogs. But most of all, Gerald loved to spend time with his family who loved him dearly.

Gerald was survived by his three children, three children-in-law, and eight outstanding grandchildren. He was also survived by his supportive brother and sister as well one niece, three nephews, four grandnieces and two grandnephews.

Gerald was predeceased by his wife, Gloria, parents, Hyman and Anne, and brother Kenneth.

The family has designated Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation for memorial contributions.

A graveside service will be held at B'nai Abraham Memorial Park, located at 2600 US-22 STE E, Union, NJ 07083. The service is scheduled for October 16, 2025, starting at 1:00 pm.
