Gerald Moskowitz, 86, of Livingston, NJ, passed away at Saint Barnabas Medical Center on January 15, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he graduated from Erasmus Hall High School, City College of New York, and Newark College of Engineering. He worked as a chemist for the majority of his career. After leaving chemistry, Gerald began a second career as a substitute teacher in the Livingston school system, where he worked for 22 years.
He is survived by Paula, his wife of 61 years, his three sons Bruce, Gary, and Alan, their wives Christine, Erika, and Michelle, and his five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the American Heart Association or to Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston.
