I am so sorry about the passing of your mom. She was such a special lady, and I am so lucky to have met her! May her memory be a blessing always. Sending love and strength during this difficult time.

Sometimes a person just reaches in and touches your heart deeply- that person was Helaine, for me and for anyone she met!  The holidays spent with Helaine, Mike and Dani remain some of my most cherished memories!  She will be truly missed as the world had lost a beautiful soul🫶🏻

Helaine was a joy and a delight! I met her through Danielle and she was so open and caring and giving of herself. When my daughter Paige expressed interest in teaching, Helaine was our go to as a font of knowledge, insight and wisdom. 

I will ever be thankful for having met her! She will be missed.

I remember that when I was a child, Cousin Helaine never talked down to me.  She might have been the smartest person in the room, but she always made me feel like what I had to say had value. I was jealous of her students. She told me once that she loved teaching the poetry of Cats and since I had been bored when I saw it on Broadway, I thought that if she could teach it in a meaningful and exciting way, then I must have missed out. I could see the pride and joy in Cousin Helaine’s eyes whenever she looked at Dani or talked about her. Their bond was inspiring. I wish to send Dani and everyone who loves Helaine deep condolences. May her memory be a blessing.
