Henry W. Montesano Sr.

Services will be conducted from the LaMonica Memorial Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave. Livingston on Saturday, July 20, at 8:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann’s Church in Parsippany at 9:30 am. The entombment is at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visitation is on Friday from 3-8 pm.

Born and raised in Bloomfield, Henry moved to Lavalette more than 20 years ago.

Henry was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked doing engine repair for Homelite Corp. in North Arlington for over 30 years and went on to work for Del Sano Contracting Corp in Union for 12 years retiring in 1999.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Rose Montesano (nee Pravata), Henry was the loving father of Diane Montesano Del Russo, Henry Montesano, Jr., Michele Allora, and Robert Montesano, and dear brother of Jean Redifer. He was also survived by 9 grandchildren.
