Herb was a terrific husband to Maxine for 57 years (prior to her passing in 2021), devoted father to Ellen, Barbara and Rich…loving father-in-law to Eric, Kenny and Danielle…adoring grandfather to Danielle, Samantha, Amanda, Sydney, Jordyn and Ben…proud great grandfather to Evan and Ari…and beloved by everyone!
Donations would be welcomed in Herb’s honor at his beloved synagogue Congregation Agudath Israel ,20 Academy Road, Caldwell, NJ 07006 and the American Heart Association.
Funeral services will be held at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ on Thursday September 10, 2026 at 11:00 am. Services will be livestreamed. The family will be receiving guests from 10:15 am to 10:45 am. The burial will take place at Cedar Park and Beth El Cemeteries, 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ.
