Mrs. Ida Gross, nee Rubin, of Brooklyn, New York, died November 8, 2012. Mrs. Gross was born in Poland and came to the U. S. when she was four years old. A longtime resident of Brighton Beach, she was the beloved mother of Penny Baran (Andrew) , and Philip M. Gross (Laurie) , grandmother of Amy and Julie Gross, Leslie Klaff (Ken), and David Gross-Loh (Christine), Adam Lener and Paige Lener. Her ten great grandchildren: Emma and Zoe Gross; Jacob, Brandon and Aaron Klaff; Benjamin, Daniel, Mia, and Anna Gross-Loh; and James Lener, were a great source of love and pride for her. She worked in retail for many years and lived in Brooklyn for over 70 years. Funeral services will be Monday, November 12, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Bernheim-Apter -Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Rd Hills Rd, Livingston, NJ. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief (Hurricane Aid).
