Irene L. Blaustein 91, of Livingston passed away after a long illness on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Born in Hartford, CT Irene lived in Brooklyn, NY, Springfield and Short Hills, NJ prior to moving to Livingston. Irene and her husband were the Proprietors of M. Blaustein Inc. in Short Hills, NJ. Mrs. Blaustein was a member of Cedar Hill Country Club and was an avid golfer and reader.
Surviving are her husband Jules Blaustein, her children Lauren Perkel and her husband Lloyd, Barbara Levine and her husband Roy, and Carol Barnhard and her husband Paul, her brother Sanford Barnett, her 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be offered Friday, March 17, 2017 at 12:00PM at the Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston. Interment will be in Beth David Cemetery, Kenilworth.
