Isaac was so much more than his disease. He was smart and funny with a slightly caustic sense of humor. He followed a difficult road but managed so many successes, graduating college and finishing his master's degree this past May. He was a devoted son who never once forgot to tell us how much he loved us, and how much he appreciated our being there for him. He wanted so much out of life and came so close to having it all. He loved his cousins fiercely and loved his big brother and sister with all his heart. He especially enjoyed the precious time spent with his baby niece and nephew. Isaac loved April and made his intentions clear that he hoped to marry her and have a family together. He was loved by many and will be missed from now till the end of time.
Isaac was born in Livingston, NJ and spent his youth in South Orange, NJ. He attended Quinnipiac University for his Bachelor's degree and then received his Master's degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. He was a scientific researcher at Beam Therapeutics in Cambridge, MA.
Isaac was the beloved son of John Finkel and Cherie Cohen, loving brother of Sam Nathaniel Finkel and Maggie Sarah Blake (James), devoted uncle of Flynn Jackson Blake and Everhart Rose Blake, cherished nephew of Ivy Cohen Hausman (Barry), Steven Cohen, Mary Akerson and Nancy Coleman. He also leaves the love of his life, his girlfriend April Jean Anamisis, and will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
