Uncle Ivor is what I called him, my dad’s dearest friend and one of the greatest friendships I’ve ever came across in my life time. Since I was a little girl “Bright eyes” is what he called me and when I asked why ? He’d say because you have the biggest and brightest eyes that light up any room you walk into and I’d smile and he would say “that’s my girl”. Everywhere him and my dad would go you better be sure I was right there with them tagging along. So many amazing memories that I will cherish forever.

Thomas family remember, when the going gets tough find comfort in God, the love of family and friends and strength in all the beautiful memories shared together that will always live in your hearts.

Our deepest condolences,
The George Family

Ivor you were such a blessing to our family and we are forever grateful. One of my favorite memories, he flew to Guyana for our wedding and even took all of our photos. Thank you for the wonderful memories that I will cherish forever.

Our deepest condolences to the Thomas family 💐

May you rest in eternal peace 🕊️

On behalf of the Taylor family and other friends and families that has been touched by Uncle Ivor's love and selflessness. We are surely heartbroken and empty as a result of his passing. To us he ment a true link to our family tree. I member that had history and advice of which was shared during the time we shared recently.
Those that knew him and was physically touched by him and his wife whenever they visited their home country Guyana are great full that such a loving, caring, kind and handsome friend and uncle was a great part of their growing up. Everyone remembers uncle Ivor giving hands and wonderful smiles. It seems as though he and his wife were Santa Clauses to many. I heard he was a very chatty and loved to share stories of his childhood.
I myself Eric, son of Hyacinth Taylor seem to be very chatty. I wonder if it's a family inheritance?
To those that he spent to most with that's his wife and children, we in the Taylor family send our condolences and wish to keep our relationship open. We recognize that family is always extending and we would certainly like to know all of you.
Our Ivor is not absent in our hearts and mind. He lives within our DNA and therefore lives in our every journey.
Thankful and grieving are we but believe he's home with his friends and families that awaits him in the journey we all will one day meet.

My father, this is how I addressed him whenever he called me or whenever I called him because he treated me like I was his daughter. He was apart of my life from a very young age. Ivor and my father were more than friends, their friendship stayed even though they were miles away. There are so many wonderful memories of him that would stay with me. I will forever remember you my father, you are gone but will never be forgotten. Rest in God's Perfect Peace.

My deepest condolences to the entire Thomas family during this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Thomas through my work at John Fernandes Limited, and although our time working together was relatively short, we developed a genuine bond and mutual respect. He would often check in whenever he hadn’t heard from me, and he always greeted me with his warm smile and kind nature.

Mr. Thomas will be deeply missed. He was someone we could always count on, and he consistently went above and beyond to assist us whenever needed. His dedication, professionalism, and willingness to help will always be remembered and appreciated.

As we prepare to receive one of the last cargo shipments he arranged for us, it has brought a different feeling knowing that he is no longer here. However, the memories he created and the impact he had on those around him will remain with us.

May his memory continue to live on, and may God grant his family strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult time.

With heartfelt condolences,
Kassandra
