Jeanne M. Di Orio

Jeanne was born on May 16, 1940, in Newark, New Jersey, to the late Hank and Genevieve (Carpino) DeMunno. She graduated from Barringer High School in Newark before going on to establish and operate Sweet Cravings in Caldwell, New Jersey, where she was the proud owner for many years.

Jeanne found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved playing Scrabble, Word with Friends, and completing crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time down the shore.

Jeanne was predeceased by her parents; and beloved husband of 36 years, Angelo Di Orio.

Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Gina and her husband Andy, and their two children, Harper and Zach; and daughter, Iva “Lulu” and her husband Jack, and their three children, Joseph (Melissa), Nadia (Kyle), and Alexa (Nick); as well as her four great-grandchildren, Hunter, Hallie, Teagan, and Niko.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at LaMonica Memorial Home, 145 East Mount Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, New Jersey. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lucy's Roman Catholic Church, 118 7th Avenue, Newark, New Jersey. Committal will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery & Mausoleum, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Jeanne's memory.
