Like Michael Hauser, I grew up with Jeff as neighbors who lived around the corner from each other and at Burnet Hill, Heritage, and Livingston High schools. While I didn't know Jeff as an adult, I remember him as a child and teen for always smiling, having a great sense of humor, and being a really nice guy. I was happy to learn over the years that Jeff had married Mary Beth, who I knew from summer camp and Green Brook, that they had had three children, and that they were living in Livingston.

I was very saddened to hear about Jeff's accident and death over the weekend and have been thinking about him and his family ever since. During these dark days and in the difficult weeks and months ahead, I hope that Jeff's loved ones will find some comfort in these posts learning how Jeff touched other people's lives and how lucky we are to have known him. He is and will be missed.
