Jeffrey Bruce Geffner, (best known to his friends as Scooby/Geff), 56, peacefully passed away at his home in Englewood on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Jeff was raised in Livingston and is a graduate of Syracuse University where he will forever be Orange. Jeff worked as a dedicated insurance broker of HUB International for many years. He was not only an avid golfer but loved sharing his passion for the game with his son and friends. He was a former member of Crestmont Country Club and a most enthusiastic Mets and Giants fan.
Jeffrey was a devoted son of Stephen and the late Myra Geffner, a wonderful father to Carly and Ross, a constant inspiration to his sister Marcy Krueger and her children Alec and Jaimie, Nephew of Rona Berg, loving cousin to the Haber, Berg, Lifshitz and Arnold families.
He will be remembered for his mile wide smile and for his kind heart. He will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
