We are still reeling with the news. It is unfathomable that you are gone. Your energy and spirit were so luminous and strong, and knowing that we will not have more time, more smiles, more of that joy and energy.... We are suffering this loss. Our board was looking forward to continuing to build this relationship, and I was so hoping this friendship would grow and last for years. We will continue to serve in Jennifer's name. Hugs and positive vibes from all the StarThrowers.

Daniel, Beth, Michael, Karen & Stu,

I am so sorry for the loss of Jen. She truly brought smiles to everyone she met. I am honored to have been her friend for 40+ years. May the memory of Jen bring smiles to everyone's face.

I am glad I was able to be with you and your family last week as we remembered her.

Love,
Betsy

I am so sorry to hear about Jennifer’s passing. I first met Jennifer in middle school after moving to Livingston. Jennifer was always nice and made me feel welcome which continued throughout the years. My condolences to you and your family.

I met Jennifer when Daniel and my daughter were new borns. I was new to NJ and Jen was very generous with her heart and we quickly became a good friend. I left NJ in '99, and over the years we lost touch, but Jen always remained a vivid and fond memory of my time in NJ. My deepest condolences to Daniel, Beth and the whole Cooper family.

The New Jersey Psychological Association and NJPA Foundation are so saddened by the news of Jennifer's death. Here's the message we shared with our membership in her memory:

Jennifer served as NJPA's Membership Services Coordinator and NJPA Foundation Liaison from 2019 to 2023. Members appreciated her warmth and the care she took to meet their needs. She had a passion for helping people, especially those affected by mental health concerns and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Membership committee members admired Jennifer's tenacity; she was a loyal champion and a fierce protector. I particularly appreciated her professionalism and warmth when responding to referral network calls from community members.

Jennifer was especially known as an enthusiastic supporter of the NJPA Foundation. She particularly loved working with, and building close relationships with, many of the Foundation Trustees. Jennifer provided valued support to the Foundation Board, making significant improvements in communications and organization of materials, as well as coordinating community service site activities. She was a staunch advocate for NJPA membership with grant recipients. Foundation Trustees remember her as forward-thinking, supportive, and patient.

Jennifer was a kind and thoughtful coworker to her Central Office colleagues. She was quick to share a laugh or offer support on a difficult day. Jennifer was a very proud Mom of two young adult children. Our thoughts are with her loved ones at this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Jennifer over the last 4 1/2 years as she helped me with outreach and support for families with special needs children. Jennifer always brought warmth and compassion into every room and a laugh and a smile that was contagious. She was a wonderful human being who always cared deeply for her family and for everyone in the world around her and she will be deeply and sadly missed. May her memory be a blessing.

I always enjoyed visiting Jennifer at family gatherings. She had a way of making me smile and laugh. I will miss her.

The rabbi did a great job in memorializing Jennifer. I was grateful for the LiveStream option.

My deepest condolences to the entire family.

Danny
