She was born on May 8, 1930 and lived her whole life in New Jersey with her loving family and community.
True to her name, Jolly brought joy to countless lives during her 93 years. She excitedly traveled the world with loved ones, including her late sister Jane, proudly worked until she was 90, and stayed active until her last days. She filled her time with book club and Hadassah meetings, mahjong and canasta games, and she never missed the Yankees on TV.
She is survived by her three children, John, Margie, and Amy, their respective spouses, Carol, Dave, and Scott, her five grandchildren, Justin, Jared, Megan, Jake, and Emma, her five great-grandchildren, and many more.
She will be dearly missed and her bright memory will be a blessing to all who knew her.
A memorial will be held at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman funeral home at 68 Old Short Hills Road in Livingston at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 17. Shiva will be held at Amy and Scott’s home on Friday after the service and on Saturday starting at 11 a.m.
