It is who he was and how he will always be remembered. He was so many things to so many people a father, a husband, a brother, a son, and always a friend. His hallmark was what the world most needs – kindness. It is his legacy to all he touched in his life. His gentle, kind and funny way will always be remembered and carried on in those he loved.
Above all he loved his family and was so proud of the boys he loved more than life. Proud husband of Laura Goldstein, father of 2 sons (Jaron & Jaylan), father of 2 step-daughters (Abigail and Caroline) Member of Cole Schotz, 53 of NYC, Jordan died peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2024, in Livia Hospice Care Center, East Hanover, NJ.
Born in Livingston, NJ, Jordan graduated from Livingston High School in 1988, the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1992 and the University of Miami School of Law in 1995. He was an associate at Ravin, Sarasohn, Cook, Baumgarten, Fisch and Rosen, P.C. of Roseland until February 2000. For the past 24 years, he was a Member Co-Chair of the Corporate Transactions Department and a member of the Real Estate Department at Cole Schotz of Hackensack, NJ.
While Jordan was a prominent attorney in the Metropolitan area, he was an elite Dad, Brother, Son, Husband and Friend. His life’s work was making his friends and family happy, but never missed a good time himself, whether that was on the tennis court at the West Side Tennis Club, the golf course, or spending time in his happiest place at Bethany Beach in his home in Delaware. His greatest contribution to this earth was his kindness. Jordan Fisch is survived by his wife, Laura Goldstein, two sons, Jaron and Jaylan, mother, Deborah, brother Jedd, two step-daughters Caroline and Abigail Bassichis, sister-in-law Amber Fisch, brother & sister-in-law Paul & Rachel , parents in law Joe & Ellen Goldstein, Aunt & Uncle Ronald and Joan Fisch; his nieces Zaylee Rust, Ashlee & Kendall Fisch; his ex-wife and friend, Denise Albert, and countless friends he considered family.
Please always keep Jordan in your hearts and on your minds. When you do an act of kindness, remember Jordan. When something makes you smile, remember Jordan. When you see the good in the world, think of Jordan. We all will every day as we work to carry his kindness forward.
