Joseph R. Prato, 93, died on February 8, 2012. Born in NYC, he was a resident of Alpine, NJ and Sarasota, FL. Mr. Prato was the President of Stout Bros, food brokerage. He was lay leader of the Demarest Methodist Church, President of the Cresskill-Alpine Little League and President of his condo assoc. He will be remembered for his positive outlook, community service and love for family & friends. He was loved by his wife of 69 years, Ida Webel Prato, brother, Eugene (pre-deceased), his son Steven and his wife, Ann, grandsons, Sander and Blair. Private services were held by his family.
